pyobs - An Observatory Control System for Robotic Telescopes

We present a Python-based framework for the complete operation of robotic telescope observatory. It provides out-of-the-box support many popular camera types while other hardware like telescopes, domes, and weather stations can easily be added via thin abstraction layer to existing code. Common functionality focusing, acquisition, auto-guiding, sky-flat pipeline calibration are ready use. A remote-control interface, “mastermind” truly operations as well an interface Las Cumbres Observatory observation portal is included. The whole system fully configurable extendable. currently running pyobs successfully on three different which one siderostat observing Sun. uses open standards software wherever possible itself freely available.
